Alexander - no-one else has a problem with the "concept" of a money coming from a limited development on the Heights, with the majority at Farthingloe (which very few people have any issues with including various people in 'Braddon'), that if sufficient could kick start lottery match funding, that will in turn allow restoration of the heritage, thus allowing it to become self sufficient and move into further restoration. Why can't you?
Sadly you don't seem to be able to hold a sensible discussion, you continual misquote things that I say to try and justify our own flaky arguments, and really don't want to listen to anything anyone says.
I really can't be a***d to play your silly games and I will no longer respond to any of your comments, no matter how much you try to stir. If anyone else wants a reasonable discussion I will converse with you
I (along with the other volunteers) will continue to concentrate on actually DOING something to protect the heritage including the work parties, looking at grant opportunites, Open Weekends, guided walks, talks, regular patrols and working with English Heritage towards an enhance management agreement with them. In the meantime I will be re-reading ALL of the CGI documentation and will shortly submit my own balanced comments to the planning application.
Slamming the door on a 'possible' solution to the long term preservation of the Heights before it barrly gets through the front gate really isn't the right thing to do and it deserves due consideration......
