Paul, this is about democratic views of local people, not politics.
Trees are part of a green and historical area as is Western Heights. New houses do not come under green area, nor are they historical sites.
You evidently think that they do.

Is it just me, or have I not already given you an alternative proposal in reply to your quest for an alternative and realistic idea.
Try reading my previous posts from last night. Ask for funding to employ full-time and paid workers on a contract to get the repairs done. This would fit into your competence, not building houses, a hotel and a super-memorial to attract big-time visitors and cars onto the Heights.

WHPS are supposed to be working to preserve Western Heights, not dramatically change it while dreaming up large-scale economic incomes for Dover's shops, restaurants and hotels.
