Starting to think you are being deliberately awkward !!

I am not the only person that makes suggestions, there are a lot of stakeholders that need to be consulted before it is decided what can happen with the nature element and everything else.

The fortifications were built to be tree-less as it defeats the idea of the defences!! The sycamore on the Heights are apparently seen as weeds as they damage the heritage and also damage the chalk grassland. You'll need to speak to WCCP, but my view from them is that they want grassland rather than trees and scrub.

"Many trees on Western Heights do not encroach on historical sites there." - you could say that about the houses??

Do you really need telling that developers want profits, people running businesses in the town want profits, people want jobs etc ???????

My point to you is that WHPS isn't there to make a profit it is there for the long term protection of the heritage and that is what we are there to do as a charitable body.

Of course we don't know everything and I don't see why you are questioning the competence of WHPS - as I said a long term business case will be needed and of course additional expertise will be needed from a whole variety of people with the skills that are needed to make a project like this work.
