Well no, not with the original thread, but because the thread's about Christmas, my point was, reading Sky News, I'm getting the impression that Christmas has been replaced with glorification of one family.
Not one article there on Christmas is opened, without half the page being full of massive close-up pics of one or other member of one family, as if they had replaced Christmas and Christmas had become all about them.
And what the Olympics in the queen's speech has to do with Christmas, is anyone's guess.
Actually, what Christmas has to do with being all about self-glorifying pics of members of one family head of ... everything!!!, goes beyond me. Then the deleting all comments!
I just needed to shout a cry of protest into the wilderness.
