    I must agree with Alec, in the last 18 months I have been a guest at three hospitals and have undergone two major operations, the first of which was a life-saver. My problem was detected by my gp, who got me into Canterbury, where they identified the problem in more detail. Then I was moved to W.Harvey where the treatment continued and the condition was reduced to a operable size, finally I went to Kings in London where the problem was resolved. The only down side to all this was the food, which frankly defies description!
    If this was not enough I then returned to Ashford a few months later where I had a total left knee replacement. To aid my recovery I was loaned a lot of bits and pieces and I even had handrails fitted up the staircase, at no cost! So I agree with Alec, it may not be perfect but by golly it'll do for me
