  i know of someone who moved to romney marsh and on his first visit to a rather remote pub he noticed an extremely large cat sleeping in front of the open fire.
  
  when he enquired of the landlord he was told that it was called eric and came in on winter evenings, warmed himself up in front of the fire ate what was in the dogs bowl then left.
  
  turned out to be a jaguar.
