I see the first meeting of the advisory group is tomorrow.Five Councillors and one resident.I hope Mr Ward will make his views clear.

I don't really see any point to this meeting until proposals are put into the public domain for consultation.

With all these new facilities coming available to the general public all we will be short of is a swimming pool. Presumably the planned new one at Whitfield would be able to house an Olympic size one that would draw people into the area.

And if the schools decide to pull the plug, we have only a swimming pool ie a leisure centre not fit for purpose!
