Just returned from my annual walking break, this time across Scotland yes I walked across it.After walking across England on Hadrian's Wall last year I decided to walk across Scotland this year.
I set out from Fort William to Inverness over 5 days, via Fort Augustus Drumnadroichit and Loch Ness,it is truly an amazing walk but not for the faint hearted as it means climbing up the side of mountains as well as walking along Loch Ness.
While there I stayed in the best Bed and Breakfast ever at a place called Gairlochy 10 miles from Fort William, the lady Heather was a great advert for Scotland telling us about the walk ahead and if we took a detour would see an amazing waterfall.
I flew up from Manston to Edinburgh and that is so easy then 4 hours north by train and on the way back from Inverness to Edinburgh and 2 hours flight from Edinburgh 3 hours from Edinburgh and I was home.

While there I could have sworn I saw Paul Boland,he was wearing green and kept diving into Loch Ness but no it was OK it was the Loch Ness monster!
