A very informative opening post.............not.
Having looked it up it looks like the Canterbury bus will now go via River every 30 minutes.

This is good news and especially for River residents. I know Sue uses the bus service regularly so no doubt this will help her immensely

i think it was terry that started a thread on this a couple of weeks back, basically good news all round but river residents will notice it the most.

I shall be eligible for my bus pass in July 2015. Free prescriptions next May along with a discount at B&Q on Wednesdays. Whoopee!

Nice to see some decent buses (albeit not new) on the route. I was dreading seeing that ancient Mercedes as a 15B. I wonder why that has popped up in Dover again.
I shall have an adventure this week, out on the 15B and back on the 12, followed by whatever is next at Tesco. I can't be seen hanging around there for too long!

B&Q have discounts for the over 50's, well I never knew that, think of all the discounts I've missed out on in my 51st year
Seriously though I'm glad to discover that piece of news. It was great when they were just around the corner from me here in Dover, now it's a car journey away. On the up side, it is bigger with a lot more choice

With an exception Collette. We waited nearly a week to get the stuff for our refurbished kitchen (discounts Wednesdays only) , only to be told "No discounts on kitchen materials"!

ps Fewer buses now to B&Q
