  A bit "off topic" given the headline of this thread, but I think the Town Team have done a great job in attracting good quality market traders. In the face of fierce competition from the retail "giants", town centres can only thrive if people are prepared to shop locally. Hopefully, the recent horse meat scandal has made people stop and think about the sort of practices which the big retailers employ to keep costs down. Cheap but certainly not cheerful!
