Brian I have no problem with fair competition but for Eurotunnel to muscle in on the ferry business when the tunnel already carries 50% of cross-channel traffic, and do it by a cross-subsidy from the tunnel is manifestly unfair competition.

Last time I went across, P&O were £29, DFDS £50 and MFL £39. And P&O threw in 6 bottles of wine and a free brekkie. But the real argument is over the freight business where tariffs are negotiated behind closed doors between ferry companies and users.

Charlie's comments were not unreasonable but the response of M. Guenon is quite astonishing.

Alex you have now put yourself on the side of those who wish harm to Dover and its people.
