    I believe that Charlie Elphicke has received a broadside from M. Gounon because of the comments he made in agreeing with the OFT interim ruling, link posted in #779. M. Gounon has chosen to interpret Charlie's comments in this regard as xenophobic. The issue will be decided by the OFT. Charlie speaks on this issue in his capacity as the local MP and his comments are in relation to the OFT interim report.

    The DPPT as an organisation is content to watch for the final decision of the OFT and has no official comment or statement to make at this time on this issue.
