IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE DOVER PEOPLE'S PORT TRUST LIMITED

The Dover People's Port Trust Limited ("DPPT") was created as an industrial and provident
society and registered on 23 August 2010 with number 31026R. It is also registered as a charity
by HM Revenue & Customs with number XT28458.

DPPT has been established to bid for and acquire the Port of Dover with a view to running the
port in the interests of the Dover Community, port users and those working there. In particular,
we aim to seek value, efficiency and much needed regeneration of the town and infrastructure
    improvements.

We are inviting any individual resident or working in and any business based in the District of
Dover to become a member of DPPT on completion of an application form and payment of £10
    for a membership share.

    DPPT's Aims and Aspirations
The website incorporates details of our aims and aspirations as outlined in our offer to the
    Government dated 1 November 2010.

Monies raised through the issue of membership shares will be used for the production of
certificates, postage, etc. and to fund ongoing administrative expenses as the bid to gain
ownership of the port proceeds. In case the Government decides to allow a private equity sale of
the port as proposed by the Dover Harbour Board and our bid is not accepted, any remaining
funds from membership applications will be used to benefit local Dovorian charities and causes.

The following points should be borne in mind:

    Shareholder Rights

    1. The shares are not transferable and carry no right to interest, dividend, bonus or repayment.
    2. A shareholder ceases to be a shareholder when he/she dies as is not permitted to nominate
    any successor or beneficiary
    3. A shareholder also ceases to be a shareholder if they move away from Dover District or stop
    working there.
    4. Each registered shareholder will have one vote and can be involved in decision-making by
    attending DPPT's annual general meeting.
    5. Only shareholders can also serve as board members of DPPT on being elected in
    accordance with the Rules.

    The Board

The existing board members include ex officio members, such as Dover's Member of Parliament,
and nominations have been invited from Dover District Chamber of Commerce, Kent County Council, Dover District
Council and Dover Town Council. The DPPT website provides full details of the current board
    with their biographies.

    The Rules of DPPT

The issue of any membership shares is subject to the Rules of the DPPT. Copies of the Rules
are available for downloading from www.peoplesport.org.uk.
