    More importantly Dover owes a big thank you to Paul Tipple of Cresting who put the weekend together. He has worked tirelessly to give Dover the World wide coverage. It was a tragedy bad weather i.e. winds prevented some major contributions coming off . The pre event party for pilots in Calais was packed out with over 300 pilots/ support team.

    The microlyte team were particularly dissapointed.

    Pilots at Bleriot Plage were frustated from 5.00am that they could not take off. The French authorities shut down the airstrip at 6.00pm leaving Mikhael Carlsonn and his team Stranded until Sunday Morning. The early flight that made it -the French plane- was only allowed to go by the officials the Aero Club de France on the understanding that the pilot was SENSIBLE, SERIOUS AND CAUTIOUS.
