    Barry, the more people are put out of work, the more benefits will have to be paid.
    This means more tax will have to be paid to cover increased spending on benefits.

    It also means that more people (the unemployed) will have less money to spend in the economy.

    The Government is achieving the following: increased spending on benefits, so that people live a life of misery.

    It's clear to see that there is no Coaliton programme to enhance in any way whatsoever the productive economy.
