Based on my experience there, I cannot say that I'm remotely surprised.

Someone should explain to DHB that it is the responsibility of the town council to bring adverse publicity to the town.

Surprising that these Forum members, which I have watched for several years, have not made any comments about this significant news, but cited DTC..... Over the years I feel the majority of members have been vocal about DHB and its CE, but are now quiet. Interested in this lack of response and what is suggests.....

The difference is that both DTC and DDC are funded by
US and supposedly working for
US and should at the end of the day be answerable to
US.
Having a pop at DHB is a bit like complaining about the weather, we all do it, but unfortunately realise we can do bugger all about it.

So bullying and inappropriate behaviour is OK?

Not at all. We can all cite loads of recent cases in politics, media and business where such allegations have been made. It's become quite fashionable of late. This time it happens to be a local firm. The caravan will move on.

So these complaints against TW are dismissed by you as "fashionable"? Your "caravan" may move on but not for those who have been subject to the accusations.

Allegations are what they are ashtray and a company that specialises in such stuff is investigating. I am happy to accept their eventual findings.

Interesting responses from both of you but not surprising. Especially the "ashtray" reference. Yawn.

Before you send your responses, just to let you know, this was an exercise in how DF would react to this story and the responses spoke volumes. The colour of Spring comes to mind. I will no longer be a member.

So ashcan joined the forum to get a desired response from its members did not receive that response so now leaves in a huff, after insinuating we are all cowards or of far eastern descent! how strange!
They still didn't tell us if we passed the test?
The report says physical and verbal gestures? I get physical ones, are the verbal ones from some new branch of linguistics that I was unaware of?
University of Chicago have done some research
http://www-news.uchicago.edu/releases/06/060721.verbalgestures.shtml
but this must be different to cause offence.
That said over the past couple of years DHB's public relations attempts have often been called threatening and compared to the behaviour of a bully, so who knows

We all know that DHB are a law unto themselves and as much as I dislike them how can I comment and give a balanced reply on a subject that I know nothing about.
A shame you choose to leave this forum after such a short time which is not sufficient enough to get replies from those better informed than myself.
