Lansley : On the Ropes!

And its over to Madison Square Garden where thousands of fans are already waiting....
Hello to the UK. This is Walter Kronkite in New York. Thousands of British fans have flown in for the fight of the century. Yes indeed they have flown in by Jumbo in their thousands and the atmosphere is tense and electric. In one corner we have underdog Jo Nurse and in the other corner we have Andy 'The Slugger' Lansley. Clear favourite to win this one is The Slugger but in a fight like this with an electric atmosphere anything can happen.
Spongeman with the bucket for Lansley is Nick ''The Creeper' Clegg and also in his corner is his notorious manager 'Crusher' Cameron.
ROUND 1 : And the bell goes and straight across the ring goes Lansley at full speed and pokes Nurse in the eye. Nurse reels backwards. Lansley follows up with a right cross and a left hook. The blood flows, Nurse is experiencing cuts already. Will he even last through the first round. The bell rings...Nurse is saved by the bell.
ROUND 2: And Lansley goes for it again. Straight across the ring and and with one fell swoop knocks Nurse to his knees. Lansley waves in the air, confident of victory, but the crowd turn against him. Nurse rises from the floor and tries to fight back. He gets in a blow but Lansley counters with a left and right combination. The bell goes.. Nurse staggers back to his corner.
ROUND 3: Lansley appears disturbed by the crowd all cheering for Nurse and takes his eye off his opponent. Nurse capitalises on Lansley's waywardness and clobbers him with a left and right. Now its Lansleys turn to reel. His manager in the corner looks disgusted, he shouts at Lansley. But Nurse hits him again and Lansley drops to his knees. His manager turns his back on proceedings. The bell goes.
ROUND 4 : Now Nurse is on the attack. The crowd go wild, all are behind Nurse...Lansley cannot understand why he is getting no support. His manager leaves the arena. Another right hook from Nurse and Lansley is on the floor again. He looks dazed, red faced, bewildered, tousle haired...the referee begins the count..1...2...3...4...5.. Lansley tries to rise but...

I nearly posted on this very topic this morning - not the big fight - but the grovelling that the creep has had to endure. The apology he has made to the nurses for what he calls being misunderstand. The strange thing is that should he fall ill,God forbid, the nurses would treat him with professional care and attention a service he has not afforded them!.Marek

- 16 April 2011 04:53101981Health secretary Andrew Lansley apologised to nurses yesterday after they backed a vote of no-confidence in his controversial NHS reforms.Almost 99 per cent of delegates at the Royal College of Nursing said they did not support the Health Secretary - the first time such a motion has ever been passed against a minister.
Mr Lansley later said sorry to the nurses several times and admitted the no confidence vote was a 'rebuke' more like a kick in the nuts.It is the latest blow for the beleaguered Health Secretary, whose plans to scrap Primary Care Trusts and give GPs greater control of NHS cash have come under sustained attack from leading doctors, MPs and even members of the Coalition, yet another split showing at the demolition seams between the Conmen and Fibdems.
Nurses say they have been sidelined by the reforms - which will empower GPs - and fear they will not be involved in any decision-making.They are also worried about proposals for NHS operations and treatment to be carried out by private companies, fearing it will lead to worse care for patients.Marek
