Hahaha. I actually got driven into twice (as a pedestrian) during the time my kids were at St. Mary's. I'm sure the parking won't have improved, and I reckon it will be chaos down there for the next couple of weeks. If anyone is passing with a camera handy I would really appreciate it, you might even get a post in 'local wildlife' if you manage to spot one of those rare creatures, the traffic warden who are hardly ever seen at school run time.
For those who care, I used to park on Durham Hill and walk the kids through the town, good excercise, but sometimes unpleasant having to run the gamut of beggars and drunks who between them seemed to have every avenue covered.
