  Dave - No I would not model this country on the US system despite not agreeing with your perception of it. As I have already said I would look to the continent for alternative models that better combine private and state. I would also like to see private medical insurance encouraged through tax relief and employers being incentivised to provide Group PME schemes. No-one should have to take insurance though for decent medical care.
