  all seems to be happening at the bandstand, this courtesy of the town council website.
  
  monday June 11th, 1pm - 4pm.
  Come down to Pencester Gardens and join Dover's Knit & Natter Group in an open air community group session.
  
  Dover's Knit & Natter group have been hugely involved in the making of wollen bunting to decorate the town of Dover in time for the Olympic celebrations this July.

  more like kath's cup of tea than mine ted, i prefer something more macho like embroidery or cross stitch.

  I'm not a good knitter Howard, I can only do easy things. Knitted bunting ???? - strange - but no doubt it will look good.
  
  (We knew someone who knitted his own socks, expertly done)

  I mentioned the unfortunate goings-on with regard to national social-knitting groups, their cushions and the forthcoming Olympics...
  Many teams, sports organisations and Japanese TV have stepped into publicise and claim their cushions.
  e.g.
  Bedford Council has arranged to deliver 220 cushions to the athletes it is hosting.
  Any cushions left over will be given to charities.
  
  Not casting Purls before swine after all.
  Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.
