  The Port of Call is a great improvement on the previous bar there. They were really taking advantage of the good weather at the weekend and were busy throughout. We tried a couple of different local ales which were delicious. I was going to try the beetroot cider, but it had run out. There was a time not so long ago when there wasn't much choice of good pubs in Dover. Now we seem to be going to be spoilt for choice with Peter's new venture opening soon. This can only be good for the town, its residents and visitors. I think that good pubs and restaurants will bring the hard working and professional people of Dover back into the town centre which can only be a good thing.
