    The Post Office social club made neighbours lives a misery for well over 2 years with their Saturday night noise, every Saturday for years. Several people regularly complained to the Council department and even had people come out late at night to record the decibels.It was acknowledged to be a problem and a nuisance and letters were sent by the council to the appropriate people more than once, with advice about soundproofing etc. Nothing was ever done because the people running the social club chose to ignore the advice and the nuisance, and it was only when the damned thing was closed that it stopped.
