    I agree. The Gateway flats are a good example of the architecture of that period of history. Not beautiful, but inoffensive and practical. The buildings or part of in Dover that I hate are the round 'towers' at the Premier Inn and the old Woolworth's building. I think they are intended to reflect the castle? But the beauty of the castle is its clear rectangular lines and perfect right angles.
