Had this through the door from a local estate agent. Is there a surge of people wanting to move down here or just buy to let landlords unable to get decent rents in London due to the benefit cap?
Deal has a lot going for it and for people on a high income great place for a second home but Priory ward has little to attract anyone other than Landlords earning money on substandard houses.
Sadly your last comment is very true - about our Ward and many of the landlords who have properties here.
I constantly got on to various departments at DDC, but in real terms, no change and now that I'm not a District Councillor, I'm not even receiving replies to my emails.
There was CCTV in that alleyway for a while that proved successful in tackling anti social behaviour. I believe this chap is right and he knows who is responsible.
DDC statement just about says it all, a bunch of pen pushers who don't get it and consistently show they don't give a damn about Dover and it's problems.
