  Quite simply a trip to Ashford or Margate is far too far even if you have a car and absolute hell if you have to use public transport.

  The trouble is with most organisations be they NHS or Parliament right down to local councils the public no longer believe what they are told and this is one of those occasions.

  The Trust says that it is difficult to recruit consultants which is not surprising as the rumours of further downgrading would deter applicants.
