Saw in today's paper that local football legend Ken Brandy was killed in the accident at Barham o0n March 26th.
Ken used to run Bar Elle in the Market Square and we used to play in different football teams but we always got on,and recently I sold him his season ticket to get him too work.No matter what rivalry we had in different teams he would always find time to chat.
He was a bit of a rogue at times but was a real gent and will be sadly missed.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

Didn't know him but I gather he was one of the town's 'characters'. He will be missed, RIP.
