  Were this Forum to be viewed as a gaming/Poker Table, with seats arranged with one eye to comfort and one eye to maximising the the use of the space available, it is plain that any seat that is unoccupied for a 'given length of time' will fall vacant.
  This is not to say that the chips at that place are lost to the absent sitter, there is no reason to say that that player cannot return, and the Table's enjoyment of the game-play of the absent player remains and will - no doubt - form one reason for a general desire for that players return.
  
  All of this is a world away from expulsion and disbarment. There is not the least hint of impropriety to be found.
