  The consultation on the Fastrack was an absolute joke. It was carried out conveniently during lockdown, an online survey monkey designed for children, with questions that only allowed the answers DDC wanted. Only 11 properties in Guston received the official pack of information and Guston’s road network is going to completely change. I have written and asked for a meaningful consultation and have been told it’s not necessary. 200 Dover people responded to the consultation which is very low, and from reading responses many asked for a higher level of financial information before they would be willing to support the project, others said it wasn’t needed. DDC/KCC have taken no notice of these responses and our village is continuously told that if the money isn’t spent on the Fastrack then DDC will have to give the money back which they are adamant they don’t want to do. GIVE IT BACK! Now we are told other bus services are being axed- absolutely disgraceful claiming they have no money to subsidise when they waste so much money on cycle lanes and parklets. They need to be held to account
