paul scotchie you are correct that deal does do better than dover,
but that said any new forms of govt will have to be carefully thought and rather than political point scoring the 2 main parties should agree to a base as to which form of local govt they want to see.
In the past when this has been on the table political parties didn't look at any new forms of councils in the interest of the electorate, but in the interests of there party, that has to change
