I have just had a call from a solicitors office, they had my name/telephone number, and wanted to sort out/settle a claim
that i had made after a car accident i had 2 years ago.
I havn't been in any car accident, and certainly not dealing with any insurance/solicitors offices.
This may be a scam.
so watch out for these calls,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I tried that, he was most insistent that I had. He gave up when I asked where and when.

A call from an ambulance chaser ehhh... These people should not be referred to as solicitors as they give decent solicitors a bad name. Parasites may be a better description of ambulance chasers.
By the way - there has been a law change preventing solicitor firms from doing this. Instead we have lead generation firms making these calls and selling any leads they get to the lower-grade and less reputable members of the legal profession who depend on this.
