  .........That there is very little wind in and around the UK today. This means that there are virtually no wind turbines turning.
  They still reckon it's a good idea to subsidise these things.

  i would rather not read the link, i have enough problem reading my fuel bills knowing that they will grow ever more astronomical due to the obsession of downing street with being the greenest government ever.

  Fear not, young Howard, the link is merely a wind observation map of the UK. You may wish to bookmark it for those days when you plan on walking on the cliffs. The arrows denote wind speed by it's colour and there's alot of other useful forecast info.
  As another reminder the climate change act passed under the last government with the full support from hippie Dave is officially costing the UK £20 billion per year. These are official government figures.

  I've heard about those Howard - don't you get them at hen-nights, baby and todler meetings and offices ?
