    Brian ~ Time has certainly changed for Aycliffe.... Used to have a Co-op store with butcher section, busy Newsagents with a Post Office and not forgetting Sunny Corner Stores and the then very thriving King Lear Pub..... A very busy church and full school.

    On the planning note... It is such a shame that you have the people that follow the rules and planning takes forever or they end up failing to get a perfectly acceptable idea through and then you have all the rest who want to do it their way and flout the rules and seem to win.

    Folkestone Road will benefit from the tidyness and facility it brings, but just a shame it has caused so much bad feeling with folk on the way.
