    Detectives found the two men outside her isolated country home in an east Devon village with a cache of weapons inside their car including swords, rope and a body bag.


    The pair, who have not been named, also alleged to have had plans to the British soul singer's home and aerial photos of her rural property.


    Police said the two men, aged 30 and 33, were arrested near the village, which cannot be identified for legal reasons, at 10am on Monday.


    They were being questioned over the alleged conspiracy to "cause her some really serious harm".


    They remain in police custody at a police station in Exeter on Wednesday. Up to 20 detectives from the major crime unit are involved in the inquiry
