  Good God Mark - you have made so many factual errors I have lost count....
  
  Surely this thread is a joke, a silly wind up and you are not so dumb as to believe a word of what you wrote there.
  
  Anyway - most is so silly, the references to the Guardianistas of the BBC, in particular I will just remind anyone who dont remember a couple of facts about Patten in case someone does not realise you are joking about that.
  
  Chris Patten of course was a 'Tory Wet' and was never a Thatcherite. Truly 'wetter than wet'.... I had my own run-in with him at a YC conference way back in the old wet v dry days...Patten in fact is far closer politically to Blair than ever he was to Thatcher, in fact he was to the left of Blair in anything.
  
  Hong Kong - sold off cheap...LOL - Britain had a lease on the 'new territories' and when that leave ended they had to be handed back and what was left, Hong Kong island, was not viable on its own and it was sensible to hand that over too in favour of improved Anglo-Sino relations.
  
  Well I wont bother with the rest in case anyone thinks it worth taking seriously.
