I watched until Navarro (an American) described China as a 'predatory nation'. Pot, kettle, black or what?

Very true peter, the economist is mostly on about America
But is equally applied to all the west.
As an ex banker do you think we can continue borrowing for one way trade?

The connection between gov borrowing and trade with China is a tad tenuous. Chinese industry produces the goods we want at a price we can afford. Their gov has surpluses which they invest partly in gilts. Not as simple a relationship as you propose.
