BBC reports that a job advert recently went up on the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospital's website, for a one-year post as a fellow in anaesthesia.
The vacancy offer concluded with this summary phrase:
"Usual rubbish about equal opportunities employer etc".
Now th PC brigade is after them.
The ad has since been updated.
My view is, that someone with experience in recruiting applicants at the said Hospital has a view of their own that doesn't correspond with ... err... the politeness... of the equal opportunists.
Or did I get that wrong?
It would be interesting to hear why such and such a person wrote that phrase on the job advert, may-be they had reasons for doing so. Who knows!
