if so any youngsters get writing to ask to push the button in 2013 to down burlington house

I hope they don't offer someone the chance to push the button, they had a competition to push the button on the Richborough cooling towers years ago and the blasted things are still standing.

shouldn't be long before the chimneys come down, sandwich town council have approved the demolition.
i doubt whether the district council will block it.

My son entered the original competition, I think it was open to kids up to 16. He is now 35 with kids of his own. That's how long it has been in the pipeline, almost as long as BH.
Actually I am optimistic that the will to demolish BH is there and the cash is there. I just hope DDC officers are up to the challenge of doing what is necessary to make it happen. Bearing in mind the farce which our own negotiations with the council have become, I have my fears.
