The comments re Rogers Jean should have been transferred to a seperate post away from Mr John Turnipennys funeral comments.
Im pleased that Jean maybe home today
Possibly , threads often spiral out from thier original perpose , Personally I find the blunt insensitive tone of this OP more bothersome than reading good wishes for someones health on the "wrong" thread . Sorry if that sounds snippy but I would rather wish someone well than get "told off" in a very schoolmarmish way on a public forum .
There is a bit of a history of that.............................

Sarah P, I could not agree more, sadly that is that poster's style.

I'm sorry my posting on John's funeral about Jean not being well has caused an upset, I only mentioned it to let people know why I didn't attend - some people have mentioned that they thought I would have been there.
Sorry.
Roger
Roger I am absolutly NOT upset , I found your post touching and a really nice way for you to explain your absence and let people know about your wife being unwell . I personally thought it was a sensitive and totally appropriate use of the forum and the response from all but one poster , in my opinion reflects this view . Keep on posting to let us know how your wife is , and post on whatever thread you want to ,
