I'm told that Jack had a minor accident last week and was wisked off in an ambulance. Anyone know any more about his condition?

Hi Terry
Yes Jack had a fall on Friday morning.
Seems he has broken an arm. Was taken to William Harvey.
As at this morning I believe he was still there as a"precautionary". Patricia and I will be visiting.
Another example of the need for a local hospital with beds as Jack as a ninety plus year old would welcome more visitors if only the hospital was local.

Thanks Pat. Heard about it in Blakes Friday lunchtime from his friend Brian. Glad to know he's ok (sort of!).
Cheers

We were in Blakes this evening and neither Peter nor Kathryn said anything about Jack - he is a wonderful, intelligent, witty and good natured man; 90 odd or not, he's very sharp.
Roger
Visited Jack to-day
He is "bright eyed" but still a little shaky.
Passed on wishes from Terry and John which he appreciated.
He hopes to be back home by the weekend but depends how stable he is on his pins.

It will take more than a broken arm to slow Jack down, thanks for passing on the message Pat

JACK is a great person and at the age of over 90+he is a big + for Dover. He is Dovers No1 Citizen.

He's a wonderful man, soon to be 93 and a very proud Dover man.
He's also a leading light in the Dover Society and is on their Planning Committee.
A little frail perhaps (more so now), but mentally very strong and alert.
Hope this accident doesn't put him off of being active, but old bones repaiar much more slowly.

You're possibly thinking of Jack Hewitt Brian.
I'll put one in the wood for Jack in Blakes in a day or so.
