It's amazing to see that something so relatively simple is so precisely done. I love the faces. That piece took just over an hour (not including the background coat of paint and drying time.)
He was such a lovely man too, no big ego. So often these days when you get to meet someone you really admire and they turn out to be rude or just not what you expected and it's almost like you wish you had never met them. He really exceeded my expectations and to ask me to paint with him, I couldn't believe it. Apparently my words were "are you serious"?!
