And so has most of Dover apparently. ALDI had a bargain offer on Thursday with a slimline model. They went within 10 minutes. B&Q had the same thing without the diverter and and fiver more. They, and the bigger types are flying out of the store. I bought one yesterday as did a friendly councillor, some do actually talk to me!
Tesco apparently have reported that soups and wellie boots are almost trebling in sales.
Hosepipe sales are down though, can't think why.

I thought that you would all like to know that I plumbed in the 210 litre water butt yesterday. Today it is more than half full.
My wife is most pleased, she has always wanted one. Doubtless she will be watering the plants today.

I got round to fitting mine on Sunday. Had a look this morning and it's full to the brim already with just one nights rain.

Ah well, here goes!
All this came about because I fitted new guttering and downpipe to the extension at the the back of the house. I also decided to divert the downpipe from the top of the house as well.
We have a problem in that our garden goes uphill in terraces and the "yard" at the bottom is quite small. The only place to fit the water butt is on the other side of the shed. I cobbled my own diverter so that the butt has separate feeds in and out.
