Couldnt imagine Keefy living anywhere but Dover.
But I dont think he is knocking Dover, just trying to improve things. We all know we are a town of " to it and through it" as has been often said before. We need events that get people to stay over for a few days, it fills the hotels, guesthouses, restaurants...etc. I think the best event we ever did was the Rolls Royce Celebration on the seafront...this brought people ( large crowds ) in from far and wide, people with money and influence..and very nice it was too. They stayed here and spent here. We did mention before that a vintage car rally along the seafront would be a brilliant thing, twould attract big spenders.
I did mention this idea to Cllr D Hannent at the time. Big Dave is a keen vintage car lover and he did like the idea.
