I received that too Terry, my notification was from the Dover Society. I won't be able to go because I have a Planning Committee meeting. but it does sound interesting.
Is it another bash on DHB ?

Not really,Roger, well maybe a bit.It looks at the structures and cultural attitudes that have allowed this situation to occur.

Was it well attended ?
What were Dover's Ancient Rights and Privileges - and how did we lose them ? (Presumably through the Royal Charter of 1606) How can we regain our Heritage ? (Presumably through the DPPT ?) End of lecture !!

Well it looks something secretive, then!
Usually when there's a meeting of interest to the Forum, someone who attended it gives an account the same evening.
So we'll consign it to secrets....

This is a bit disappointing; I couldn't attend due to attending a DDC Planning Committee meeting, so it would have been interesting and useful I'm sure.
