    Here is something which a neighbour has, it was dug up in a garden near Tilmanstone, not far from the old pilgrim's footpath years ago. It is about 3 inches long, quite thick, made of something like marble.
    Not yet been able to get it properly identified, nor age.
    One person suggested it appeared to be crudely carved so may have been made by a miner, to carry with him to Tilmanstone mine, not sure whether I go for that explanation though. Has anyone seen anything like it before?
