"East Indies" Wanted immediately a number of young men who are willing to engage in the services of the Hon. East India Company to serve as soldiers for the term of five years only; as will be certified in their attestation which will be delivered to every man; each Volunteer will have bedding cloathing and every necessary suitable for the voyage to India; and at the expiration of the five years will have a free passage home at the Company's expense; if desirous to return. Each Volunteer for their future encouragement shall receive a Bounty of 1 guinea and a half free of all expense; likewise each man shall receive two shillings per day, by applying at the Little George, High Street, Chatham. Where a proper officer constantly attends who has lately returned from the Company's military service in India where they will be kindly received and genteely accommodated.
Bringers of good recruits shall receive 2-guineas. No man will be engaged when in liquor.
