    I would see it as more of an object subject to licence rather than planning permission, much like the ice-cream structure. As for other permissions, they must apply otherwise DDC planning department would not have been commended for their work on the sea sport centre.

    As for positioning, it would have been far more exciting to suspend it between the two pieces of Portland stone.
