    Sadly I don't get into town much these days - too busy! But this Friday I had a depressing walk through town - my Old Man and I had a lovely leisurely lunch at the hotel on the seafront which was great, but the walk there and back was dispiriting. Filthy pavements, rubbish and tutt lying around, no effort in the flower department, no fountain, little indication of any attractions, library closed, shops a bit lacklustre, all a bit dusty and neglected really. Not likely to encourage people to spend or stay.
