  heard earlier that intrepid explorer bruce parry has another series coming up that is a bit closer to home.
  
  this time he will immerse himself in to the daily lives of the slow vac tribe that populate the folkestone road in dover.
  
  ever eager to learn the ways and customs of different cultures he will learn skills handed down through generations, notably the rifling of refuse containers, impeding other people and most of all shouting over vast distances to members of the tribe rather than walking over to speak to them.
  
  later in the series he will observe how a birthday party for a 5 year old can end with
  a traditional punch up that is spoiled by the attentions of the local police.
  
  the slow vacs are a sociable people that like nothing more than a social gathering that leaves the local community centre looking like a bomb has hit it.
  
  like all tribes that have long standing enemies that are looking to do them a disservice, in their case it is the "wayst servisses" ane evil bunch that are on their case, thankfully they are clued up enough to not understand their language.
