  Howard - the first person to introduce politics to the thread was PaulP. I did not mention a political party at all but was referring to the economic reasons for the cuts and pointed out how easy it is to oppose any cut and/or find examples of people being disadvantaged by it. I challenged you to provide an alternative of equivilent value that could be cut instead. The reality of the situation is that spending must be cut.
