  There are smaller, specialist buses available but it would require KCC to buy one for the service. Ironically, Stagecoach still have one of the older, non-wheelchair accessible, minibuses but they cannot legally use it where fares are charged. It is kept for free diversions through narrow lanes where larger buses can't be used - for example, when flooding closed the Elham valley last year.
